Co-Founder at Worldwide Musicians United
Music | San Francisco Bay Area, US
I am a proud Co-Founder of Worldwide Musicians United (WWMU), an International NGO which helps emerging musicians from around the world to connect and develop.
As a composer, my work has been heard by film and TV audiences across the globe, appearing on the likes of MSNBC, Discovery Channel, Style Network, MTV and Bravo here in the United States, as well as in eight other countries and counting. I work primarily out of my mobile 11:11 Studios which are based in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.
My "solo" project--truly a massive collaboration called Way José--climbed as high as #2 nationally and #5 globally on the ReverbNation Indie Charts. A recent video for our song "Broken" received an Award of Merit in the Accolade Global Film Competition and was also accepted to the San Francisco Global Movie Fest.
I play drums for Feather-Bright, an indie rock outfit which has enjoyed accolades including 'San Francisco Artist of the Month' and '10 Best Albums of 2014' (according to prominent music site The Deli). My most recent project as a mixer, RONNY by Ron Gallo, also figures among the 'Top Albums of 2014' (Philly Now, Swollen Fox, and Red Line Roots).
I was a finalist in both the 2014 World Citizen Artists Songwriting Competition and the 2010 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. More recently I began harmonizing my love of the craft with investigative journalism in the field, contributing to musical outlets from coast to coast.
I thoroughly enjoy the collaborative creative process--whether performing with other artists; recording, producing and mixing; or providing fully customized music for YOUR project--so please be in touch if you'd like to make some magic together! Be well. - Danny
